PoquitoTalk ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website poquitotalk.hero-apps.com and the PoquitoTalk mobile application. We are committed to protecting user privacy, ensuring transparent data collection, and maintaining GDPR & CCPA compliance for expats, nomads, and local service providers in Panamá.

2. Speech & Text Translation Processing

PoquitoTalk processes text dictations and audio voice clips solely to generate real-time Panamanian Spanish translations:

No Permanent Audio Storage: Voice clips processed via speech synthesis and voice note services are used strictly in-memory during translation and are never stored on our permanent servers.
Local Audio Caching: Generated `.mp3` audio files for WhatsApp attachments are saved locally on your device's sandbox cache and can be cleared anytime.

3. Payments & Account Security

All subscription transactions (Credit Packs & Monthly Passes) are processed securely via Stripe Checkout:

We never receive, store, or log raw credit card or banking details on our servers.
Purchases are linked strictly to your account email address or session for voice note access.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use minimal, essential cookies and local storage (`localStorage` / `AsyncStorage`) to:

Remember your active session and language preferences.
Save user preferences (e.g. selected Voice Persona, bookmarked service phrases).
Store feedback submission history so you can track your sent requests.

5. Community Directory & Anonymous Vouching

When connecting with verified local service providers (boat captains, A/C technicians, utility contractors):

End-to-End Encrypted Messaging: Tapping WhatsApp or Call opens the respective native application on your device. PoquitoTalk has zero access to your WhatsApp messages, voice call audio, or personal chats. All communication is 100% private and protected by WhatsApp's end-to-end encryption.
100% Anonymous Community Vouches: When you submit a community vouch (e.g. Fast Response, Fair Price, Great Service), the vote is completely anonymous. We do not link or log your phone number, name, IP address, or user ID to the vouch. Device-level anti-spam protection is handled locally on your device storage.

6. Your Data Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

You have full control over your data. You may at any time request data deletion, export your saved translations, or reset your intake onboarding state directly within the app's Settings screen.
